If you are enthralled by the sight of lush landscapes via automobile, then I know you are going to love these highlights featuring a number of rich, lush and awe inspiring landscapes in and around eastern Pennsylvania. In addition to these landscapes, I have a few other "goodies" as well. Please Enjoy !!!

Decorative field patterns in eastern PA:

I am still trying to figure out what all of those cuts in the brush are for at the perimeter of the main field:

Willow Hollow Golf Course in Leesport, PA:

Circular complex in Leesport, PA:

Berks County Prison in Leesport, PA:

Lake and terraced landscapes near Leesport, PA:

The following nine photos are simply unbelievable in terms of the graceful, flowing lines that the crops follow (kind of reminds my wife of one of our carpets at home):

Housing development west of Quakertown, PA:

The next two photos show the town of Quakertown, PA:

Private residence east of Quakertown, PA with its own solar field and wind turbine:

Boats-a-plenty at Lake Nockamixon, PA:

Unusual pattern within a stand of trees in Ottsville, PA:

"Sliced" fields near Erwinna, PA:

And finally, the mighty Delaware River (looking north) and a rather large flood plain near Erwinna, PA:

I still cannot get over the beauty of those "Flowing" fields. A lot of folks make fun of Pennsylvania, but it truly is a beautiful state as these photos demonstrate.

See you on the next flight...

Today's weather was ever changing.....From a friendly sky as shown in the first picture to an ominous and threatening sky a bit later in the flight. In some instances, rain could be seen in the distance as you will see in one of the pictures. All in all, the flight lasted about 1-1/2 hours and to fly very close the the rain clouds (sorry, no pictures of this; only video which I will post at a later date) was a real treat indeed. I hope you enjoy !!!

Threatening clouds mixed with abundant sunshine. Yup, that pretty much sums up the flight today (Note my Aerial Video camera rig mounted to the wing strut):

These next three (3) pictures are of Johnson & Johnson (the Band-Aid people) located in New Brunswick, NJ:

These next two (2) pictures show Six Flags Great Adventure. There was a nice size crowd today for the first weekend of "Fright Fest":

Some white tent structures within the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park parking lot; the reason for them? Unknown:

An overall view of Six Flags Great Adventure, looking south:

These next two (2) pictures show the Perl Acres (private) airfield; note the close proximity to Six Flags Great Adventure in the second photo:

The next two (2) pictures show rain showers in the distance, looking southwest towards Philadelphia, PA:

This is what I meant by a threatening sky. Look closely and you can see the New York City skyline in the distance, bathing in the warm Fall sun:

Route 22 and the NJ Transit rail line near Whitehouse Station, NJ, looking west:

Lush, green fields near Bedminster, NJ:

Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ:

These next three (3) pictures show Merck & Co. in Whitehouse Station, NJ. The first picture show their heli-port away from the complex but well within the property boudary:

An overall view of Merck, complete with underground (or under building) parking lots. Notice the solar field at the lower portion of the photo:

I must say, this is a mighty impressive complex and parking arrangement, completely out of view. I guess you can afford this when you're one of the largest drug makers in the world:

Round Valley reservoir in Lebanon, NJ (looking south):

These next two (2) pictures show Spruce Run reservoir in Clinton, NJ (looking south):

Thanks for hopping aboard and I hope you've enjoyed today's flight.....See you next time !!!
