Ingredients:
- 3 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the marinade
Place the baby back ribs in a large dish and generously brush both sides with the marinade
Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for enhanced flavor
Once marinated, grill the ribs for about 20-25 minutes per side, basting with the marinade occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C and the ribs are nicely caramelized
Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing between the bones
Serve the smoky maple bourbon ribs hot, and enjoy the perfect blend of sweetness and smokiness!
